The Community Environment Day
On a perfect summer day, Woodside square co-hosted a Community Environment Day held by the City Councillor, helping reduce the amount of reusable or recyclable waste and allowing for the safe disposal of household hazardous waste.
The event began at 10 am and ended at 2 pm on 22nd May 2022. To encourage the participation of the community, up to two free bags of compost per household were available for pickup.
City Councillor Cynthia Lai was at the event to help and talk with our surrounding residents about the latest environment program. The event was successful as so many residents were doing their part to safely recycle their household hazardous waste.
Woodside has been honoured to continue to be a part of this community event, providing an educational experience to the public.
