December 21st - COVID-19 Update
Shop Safely with Woodside Square in this Holiday Season ! In response to the rapidly spreading and highly transmissible Omicron variant, the Ontario government, in consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health, is applying additional public health and workplace safety measures, including capacity and social gathering limits. These restrictions come into effect at 12:01 a.m. on December 19, 2021.
All retail at Woodside Square is permitted to open with a 50 per cent capacity limit in compliance with the Government of Ontario’s Roadmap to Reopening. To further reduce the spread of COVID-19 and the Omicron variant, additional protective measures are also being applied:
• The number of patrons permitted to sit at a table in a restaurant, bar and other food or drink establishment and meeting and event space will be limited to 10 people and patrons will be required to remain seated.
• Patrons must remain seated at concerts venues, theatres, and cinemas.
• Bars and restaurants and meeting and event spaces and strip clubs that serve food and drink like a restaurant will be required to close by 11 p.m. Takeout and delivery will be permitted beyond 11 p.m.
• Singing and dancing in restaurants and bars and other select settings will not be allowed except for workers or performers.
• Food and/or drink services will be prohibited at indoor sporting events; concert venues, theatres, and cinemas; casinos, bingo halls and other gaming establishments; and horse racing tracks, car racing tracks and other similar venues. Restaurants, bars and other food or drink establishments including in these establishments can operate subject to the rules applicable to these settings (e.g., 50% capacity).
• The sale of alcohol will be restricted after 10 p.m. and consumption of alcohol in businesses or settings after 11 p.m.
Mall Hours
Mall operating hours will remain Monday to Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For the holiday arrangement, the mall hours of operations are as following:
Friday December 24th 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Christmas Eve)
Saturday December 25th Mall Closed (Christmas Day)
Sunday December 26th 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Boxing Day)
Monday December 27th 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Tuesday December 28th 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Wednesday December 29th 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Thursday December 30th 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Friday December 31st 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (New Year’s Eve)
2022
Saturday January 1st – Mall Closed (New Year’s Day)
Regular Mall hours will resume on Sunday January 2nd, 2022
Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Security & Life Safety:
We have worked hard to ensure our property is clean and safe. Signage and physical barriers will be in place to ensure physical distancing along with hand sanitizer stations at all key locations. All benches throughout the mall will remain closed. We will have limited seating within the food court and will need to show proof of vaccination.
Effective January 4, 2022, the use of the enhanced COVID-19 vaccine certificate with QR code and the Verify Ontario app will be required where proof of vaccination is required. Download by visiting, https://covid-19.ontario.ca/get-proof/, or call the Provincial Vaccine Contact Centre at 1-833-943-3900 to have your vaccine certificate mailed.

May 14th, 2021 - COVID-19 Update
The health and safety of our community will always be our top priority.
Ontario has declared its third state of emergency since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and will be implementing a provincewide stay-at-home order. The stay-at home order will remain in place until "at least" June 2nd,2021.
Mall operating hours will remain Monday to Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Restaurant and food court tenants are open for take-out and delivery service ONLY and consumption of food and beverages are not permitted inside the shopping centre at this time.
Visitors can access the mall through Entrance #1 (Pizza Pizza Location) and Entrance #7 (TD Bank Location) ONLY. Active health screening for COVID-19 will be taking place upon entry and security will be monitoring patrons entering the building. Restricting access to shopping malls to limited specified purposes, including access for curbside pick-up and delivery, via appointment, with designated locations outside the shopping mall, along with other restrictions.

In preparation, the centre underwent a deep cleaning during the operation of essential services stage to ensure safe environment for our visitors

Enhanced and increased cleaning frequency and disinfection of high-touch and high-traffic areas with best practices in line with Ontario Health Authority guidelines

Implemented additional hand sanitizer stations at all entrances and common areas for public use

Installed signage and floor markings to reinforce 2-metre physical distancing and guide and manage customer traffic flow

Clear signage reinforcing the importance of proper handwashing, personal hygiene, and staying home when ill

Use of mask or face covering while indoors and throughout the mall

Limited capacity in businesses, reduced sinks and toilets throughout the Centre to ensure proper social distancing

Divided mall entrances and directional one-way access. Doors clearly marked with “Enter Only” and “Exit Only”
